My A/C isn't working :(

Sun Aug 16, 2009, 8:39 AM
For some, reason, it decided last night that it wasn't important for us to be able to breathe, so as a result, it's extremely hot in my house, and no amount of fans is helping. The air feels so sticky and disgusting that we're considering going to the mall just to get some air. :furious: My dad has been trying to fix it for almost 2 hours, and seeing as it's still not working, I'm strongly inclined to say that it's not going so well back there. :raincloud: ... I WISH there was a raincloud over my head. At least that would provide some comfort. :shakefist:

So here I am, trying to distract myself and do my art project, but the heat is just too much and I can't really concentrate. :dead: My poor baby sister is walking around in just a onesie with her hair clipped back because it was starting to stick to her forehead.

... There's a stupid cicada chirping it's ugly little flat head off outside and it's really getting on my nerves that even in the blazing sun, it still has the urge to bother all of humanity. :fork:

Goodness, I hate those things. :pissedoff:

And on top of that, I was just reminded by a friend of school schedules and mine is still all wrong, and I don't think there's any hope of fixing it until two weeks after school starts because the lady in the office doesn't like teenagers. I mean, I don't blame her; I would hate my job if I worked in the office too, but I don't understand how much paperwork there can actually be that they can't take 3 minutes out of there time and fix my schedule so I'm in the right classes. I mean REALLY.

So now I'm off to do research 19th and 20th century art movements. I hope you all are in better situations right now,

  • Mood: Outraged
  • Listening to: a cicada and some cooking show -_-

Hello DA :D Here's a short list of things about me (because, yes, I am too tired to write like a normal person) :

-I love animals, but specifically, horses
-I'm social, but not a people person, exactly
-I like long comments, even if they're not relevant to anything I have posted
-I definitely will take reading or going riding over a trip to the mall :#1:
-I actually (and guiltily) admit that I like shopping.
-I'm a tree hugger and am really big on recycling and not littering, and I get into arguments with people about that often.
-I'm not a huge fan of makeup
-I love snakes, but not as much as horses
-I do NOT like Miley Cyrus in any way shape or form ... but I did like her dress at the Oscar's
-I also don't like the Jonas Brothers.

At the moment and in the current state of sleep deprivation that I'm in, I can't think of anything else :D

Nothing really :D I'm just happy that it's Saturday because Thursday and Friday I was at school for color guard practice from 9am-5pm and from 8am-8pm and I'm so sore, lol. I should run more often. We only had to do one lap around a small-ish field after stretching each of the two days and the backs of my upper legs hurt so much! I'm such a weakling.

You're welcome. That was one of the coolest random poems about cows I ever read :D

I looked through her gallery. She's so good!

It's funny that you mention horses because I'm currently watching Narnia and drooling over the scene where Peter gallops across the battlefield bareback, bridle-less, and not even holding on to the horse. Er ... I mean unicorn.

It's so BEAUTIFUL!!! The horse they used was SO well trained. I wish I had a horse like that, man!

Hahah you must be the only person who noticed he was riding bareback! It's good there are people like you who can appreciate stuff like that :hug:I feel so unobservant now lol

But I agree. The horse is truly lovely :sun:

I watched the movie three times or more and NOW is when I finally realize that. I'm very much unobservant unless I'm analyzing the composition of the movie and stunts. It's weird, but after you watch a movie a gazillion times, you start getting more interested in say, the soundtrack or the make up or the lighting.
